De Lucy had studios in Paris on the popular Blvd. des Italiens (no. 11) and at 65 Ave. Saint-Denis near Porte-Maillot from the 1860s. He showed his work at the Societe de Francaise de Photography in 1861 and 1863, as well as in Marseilles in 1861. He photographed the Jardin Zoologique and Botanique d'Acclimatation (the year-round indoor facility in the Bois de Boulogne). This image comes from that series and has wonderful details about the image printed on the mount, plus the photographer's information. The line coming down from the top appears to be a flaw in the glass plate negative. It is probably the reason why this image is so scarce.Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
